I built an exercise tracker in Google Sheets and shared versions with friends. The idea was simple: make a workout easy to plan, follow, and review without turning it into a separate app.
The L1 leg-day template organizes exercises into repeatable blocks. Each block has space for weight, sets, reps, rest, completion checkboxes, and notes. Separate tabs keep individual sessions distinct from the reusable template.
A look at L1
A reconstructed preview of the template structure. Personal workout values are omitted.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Leg curls | · | · | · | · | □ |
| Deadlift | · | · | · | · | □ |
| Back squat | · | · | · | · | □ |

The workbook also includes chest and back templates, a workout overview, and a sets-per-week view. This page shows the structure of one template, not personal training records or the original shared workbook.
